30-Day Twitter Challenge for Teachers - created by Eric Langhorst, @elanghorst

Twitter is a social networking service for staying connected in real-time, using the web or your mobile device. It is a cross between chat and micro-blogging. Twitter can play a key role in developing a personal learning network (PLN). Participating in the network can provide timely support and continued learning, and it facilitates a better understanding of the people you collaborate with on topics that interest you. For many educators, Twitter is their favorite resource for professional learning.

People are identified by @ (my Twitter handle is @debbiefuco), and topics are identified by #'s. The more people you follow, the more interesting your 'home' feed will be. You can also follow hashtags in order to find interesting resources and people to follow.
